Please join us on Sunday, April 19th from 3 to 5 p.m. for a fun afternoon of exploring the world of home brewing while giving to a good cause.

Brews for Peru is a home brew competition that will double as a fundraiser for our global outreach trip to Huánuco, Peru. Local home brewers will be providing tastings of their favorite recipes and participants will have the chance to vote for their favorites.

A donation of $30 per person will give you admission to the event, which will feature generous samples of a variety of local home brews. Each attendee will be given three tickets, which you’ll use to vote for your favorite brews. Love what you taste? We encourage you to purchase more votes at the event!

We will also be providing information about Casa del Buen Trato Hovde shelter in Peru, which brings hope and support to young women who have been abused. Our first trip to the shelter was in summer 2019 and — with your help! — we hope to return this June with a team from our church.

All donations will go toward funding the travel expenses for this summer’s outreach trip. Any donations that go beyond our goal will be divided among other members of our service team.

We’re anticipating that Brews for Peru will sell out and encourage you to register here and make your donation by April 10th. This is a 21+ event, and will take place at the Eberles’ house in Cornelius.

If you are unable to attend, but would like to support us, we would greatly appreciate a donation of any amount.  Please feel free to sponsor us here.

Cheers!
